Office@Hand enables you to send and receive faxes directly from your online account, desktop app, mobile app, and email, without the need for a separate fax machine. Your phone number is also your fax number, so you only have to remember one number. You can fax to one or more people at the same time.In order to start faxing, you need to add email addresses permitted to send faxes first. You can send faxes via:
Email to Fax
Create a new email as you normally would. For example, if you are using Microsoft Outlook®, click New Email.
Type the recipient's fax number on the To
field.For example, to send to the fax number 1-510-555-1212 use this email address: email@example.comNOTE: Users can send the fax messages to <faxnumber>@rcfax.com or <faxnumber>@att.rcfax.com.
The text in the Subject Line of the email will be added to the cover sheet.
NOTE: If no subject line text is included, the cover sheet will be omitted.
Attach the document you would like to include on your fax message.
NOTE: The contents of the attached file will show up on the second page of the received fax message.
Review your email before sending. Click send afterwards.
RingCentral Office@Hand from AT&T will receive faxes sent to your company fax number or personal line and route them to the particular extension’s Inbox, which can be accessed from the Inbox under the Messages tab on your RingCentral online account. The following are the levels of access per account type:
• Administrators - receive faxes sent to the company number.
• Department Managers - receive faxes sent to their specific departments.
• Extension Users - receive faxes sent to their regular Office@Hand phone numbers and are detected automatically, and stored in their Messages Inbox. To access your Messages, log in to your Office@Hand account.
